This children’s play area was developed for Tenjinyama Art Studios as a community resource, and designed by the TPP Museum. Its intention is also to spur organizing and discussion around childcare and education issues, on which the TPP may have significant consequences.

パッチワークのデザイン：
カリフォルニア大学サンタバーバラ校にある国際科学学会制作の”環境変化による海洋生物の退化”というグラフがデザインの原型。”次世紀まで引きずる環境変化により、植物や動物は、それらが対応できる場所へ移動するか、または現時点の環境に適応していくかが求められるであろう。新たな調査によれば、環境変化によりどこの海域の生物が死滅し、どこでは生き残れるかという状況をグラフかしたものがある。”図は二酸化炭素の増加による２１００年の海洋生物の退化を表したものである。

the title of a research project produced by an international team of scientists based at University of California at Santa Barbara is  Maps Show Expected Redistribution of Global Species Due to Climate Change: “As climate change unfolds over the next century, plants and animals will need to adapt or shift locations to follow their ideal climate. A new study provides an innovative global map of where species are likely to succeed or fail in keeping up with a changing climate.” This map shows likely species loss by the year 2100 if current increases in greenhouse gas emissions continue.
